Annoying shopping cart at the Real Canadian Superstore
Yes, there really is a grocery store chain called the Real Canadian Superstore! To unlock a shopping cart, you have to insert a Loonie (Canadian dollar coin). You get your dollar back when you return the cart. I've never seen this feature at any other grocery store. It is quite annoying!

That is lame. It's like they're assuming all of their customers are Bubbles and can't be trusted.
Just as bad is airports in Canada (e.g. Pearson) that charge a toonie to use a luggage cart. Besides the fact that it is so ridiculously cheap of the airport to do this, how the hell do they expect visitors coming in on an international flight to have local change?
