Pixel Hell game for iOS

From the guy who brought you Bubble Pets, my longtime friend put out another awesome retro video game for iPhone. I love the feel of the 8-bit graphics and sound. Kevin MacLeod wrote the chiptunes for it. The game takes me to my happy place.

Basically, you are tapping people who are falling to hell and sending them to heaven. But don't tap the wrong characters! He has a list of features, but this one is the best:

A GORILLA AND A TANK... MORE

Good stuff. You should download it now!

Audio CAPTCHA sounds like my nightmares

Have you noticed this? I don't think the visually impaired deserve to be terrorized by such frightening sounds just to authenticate their identity.  Take a listen.

I can't say if all CAPTCHA is this frightening but this one sent chills down my spine!

Chrome for Mac released, but not for losers like me.

Two days ago, I posted about a TechCrunch report saying a Chrome for Mac release was imminent.  And wouldn't ya know it?  Today, they announced a beta of the super fast web browser is available for download.  Cause for celebration, right?

Wrong.

Chrome only works on Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.  Losers like me who are still running 10.4 can either go through the painful and long process of an upgrade, or just say fuck it. For now, I'm saying fuck it.

One weird thing is that even I though I signed up to be notified about Chrome's release by email, I never received the notification!  But S. did receive the email.  In fact, she was the one who informed me about it!  Google, if you're going to run the internet, you really need to improve your email notification system!

Chrome for Mac release "imminent"

It's not exactly breaking news, but TechCrunch reported last week that the lighting fast web browser Chrome is finally coming to Mac OS X soon....like, any day now.   This is a development I have been anxiously anticipating, as FireFox has been getting increasingly bloated and annoying.  If you want, you can sign up to be notified by Google when Chrome for Mac is released.

Unintentionally funny advertisement

Found this on the Stateman's website two minutes ago. Does it not look like that guy with a beard has a woman's midriff? Hilarious!
